Dressing
As with Exposed the original piece contained an archival color print of an encaustic painting call “Suz-anne”. A dress made out of birch leaves and encaustic paint. Over that is a color transparency of a digitally altered image of “Safety Dress” from my HomeEc Series. (part of the same images used in “Give Me”) . The image looks like cake…maybe left out in the rain. The other elements to the left are a burnt book page, beeswax, frayed chiffon, zipper parts and a coin. Original – Private Collection.
